Job Summary :

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth and partnerships within the banking and lending sector.

This role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and positioning our financial solutions to meet the evolving needs of banks, NBFCs, fintech lenders, and other financial institutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in banking and lending, proven business development skills, and the ability to convert prospects into long-term, strategic The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying potential clients, including banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions, and developing strategies to engage with them.

  • They will conduct regular client meetings to present the company's offerings, capabilities, and success stories, understanding client requirements to coordinate with internal teams and develop customized proposals and solutions.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders will be critical to generating repeat business and fostering trust.
  • The role also involves tracking project leads, following up on inquiries, converting prospects into confirmed business, and staying updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in the banking and lending sector.
  • Additionally, the BDM will represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking forums to promote the brand and expand the client base.

Requirements :

  • The ideal candidate will hold Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field, with 8-9 years of experience in business development or sales within banking, lending, financial services, or fintech.
  • Proven expertise in building professional relationships, closing deals, and managing the complete sales cycle is essential.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are required, along with a self-motivated and goal-oriented approach.
  • The candidate should be comfortable working independently, capable of developing strategic client engagement plans, and willing to travel regularly to meet clients and attend industry events.
