Responsibilities :
- Promote and sell world-class American automation products designed for the Indian market.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for customers to showcase product features and capabilities.
- Analyze customer technical and business requirements to recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Follow up on sales leads and proactively generate new business opportunities through telephone and email outreach.
- Manage direct sales to customers and provide support to local distributors within the assigned region.
- Train distributor sales engineers on company products, features, and application areas.
- Oversee sales engineers' activities across the assigned regional area, ensuring sales targets and performance goals are achieved.
- Maintain a strong local presence by residing in the designated marketing area and traveling regularly to customer sites.
- Attend and represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, technical forums, and conferences.
- Participate in ongoing training programs, including strategic selling skills and technical product knowledge.
- Periodic travel to the United States for product and sales training.
Prerequisites :
Proven track record in achieving significant sales of technical or industrial products.Strong understanding of computers and mechatronics concepts.Energetic, dynamic, and confident personality with excellent communication skills in English and local languages.Excellent presentation and public speaking skills for small and large groups.Solid understanding of the sales process and eagerness to develop advanced strategic selling skills.Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned marketing region.Minimum Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in technical product sales.At least 2 years of leadership or management experience.Skills Required
