About the Role :
The Chief Technology Officer will be a CXO level hire and lead our technical vision and oversee all technology development initiatives both inhouse ideas and assist an evergrowing simulated training and learning requirement by imparting work experiences to students and fresh graduates to innovate and research with ultimate objective of democratizing information technology for non-coders on a massive scale (more than 100,000+ students). Thereby managing a dynamic team of student interns and fresh graduates while building scalable tech platforms. This role combines strategic technology leadership with hands-on mentorship of emerging talent. The role demands significant energy, enthusiasm and passion to innovate and help the community.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership & Strategy :
Define and execute the overall technology roadmap for our large number of Tech platforms and convert innovative ideas to platforms from scratch with high speed using LLMs.
Architect scalable systems supporting 100,000+ concurrent users which may exceed 1 mln in medium term, across multiple simulated training and learning modules for innovation and research.
Oversee integration of blockchain-based certification systems and secure authentication frameworks
Drive innovation in through emerging technologies
Team Management & Mentorship :
Lead, mentor, and develop a teams of student interns and fresh graduates
Design structured learning programs that transform interns into skilled developers
Establish coding standards, development processes, and quality assurance protocols
Create internship curricula that align with real product development needs
Build a culture of innovation, learning, and technical excellence
Product Development Oversight :
Manage end-to-end development of multiple AI tools and simulations.
Oversee development of responsive web platforms using modern frameworks (React.js, Node.js, Python)
Lead API development and third-party integrations for financial data and AI services
Ensure robust data architecture using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and cloud solutions
Drive development of mobile-responsive applications and progressive web apps
Infrastructure & Operations :
Design and implement DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines
Ensure platform security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance
Optimize application performance and scalability
Manage cloud infrastructure costs and resource allocation
Establish monitoring, logging, and incident response protocols
Stakeholder Collaboration :
Work closely with founders on product strategy and business development
Collaborate with content teams to integrate educational materials with technology
Coordinate with business development for client integration requirements
Present technical progress and roadmaps to investors and board members
Qualifications :
Essential Requirements :
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
5-8 years of technology leadership experience, preferably in FinTech or EdTech
Proven experience managing and mentoring junior developers and interns
Strong expertise in full-stack development (Python, React.js, Node.js)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern DevOps practices
Understanding of financial markets, investment concepts, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication skills for technical mentorship and stakeholder management
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous startup experience, ideally through growth phases
Experience building educational technology or simulation platforms
Knowledge of AI / ML integration in web applications
Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency
Experience with agile development methodologies and remote team management
Track record of scaling technical teams from 5 to 100+ developers
