Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Economics (B.A. Hons.) with a postgraduate qualification (M.A. in Economics) from a recognized university. Valid PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) certification as per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) requirements. 2+ years of proven teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in a CBSE / ICSE or State Board school. Strong subject knowledge in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy, and International Trade. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Job Description
Role : PGT Economics
Location : Longowal, Punjab
Experience : 2+ years
Timings : 8am-4pm in Summer and 9am-3pm in Winter
Responsibilities :
- Strong subject knowledge in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy, and Statistics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using digital learning platforms and educational software.
- Commitment to student welfare, ethical teaching practices, and continuous professional growth.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, results-driven academic environment in Longowal, Punjab.
