Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Gurugram.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and support of our PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MSSQL database systems.

This role is crucial for ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of our critical data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Database Management : Administer, maintain, and support production and non-production database systems for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MSSQL.
• Performance Tuning : Proactively analyze database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement query optimization and performance tuning strategies to ensure optimal system speed and efficiency.
• High Availability : Configure and manage database replication (e.g., streaming replication, logical replication) to ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Backup & Recovery : Develop, implement, and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity and ensure rapid recovery in case of a disaster.
• Data Security : Implement and manage security protocols for SQL servers, including user access control, roles, and permissions to protect sensitive data.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Continuously monitor database health, resolve performance issues, and troubleshoot complex database-related problems.
• Data Migration & ETL : Perform data migration tasks and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data movement and integration requirements.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
