Oracle Database Administrator

Pay is up to 25 lakh based on experience.

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team, with proven expertise in managing Oracle databases on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires strong hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for proactive monitoring and performance tuning. Familiarity with PostgreSQL and SQL Server in the AWS environment is a strong plus .

You’ll be part of a high-performing team supporting mission-critical systems in a cloud-first environment, helping ensure our data platforms are highly available, scalable, and secure.

What you’ll be doing

• Deploying, configuring, and maintaining Oracle databases on AWS (EC2 and / or RDS).
• Using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring, alerting, automation, and diagnostics.
• Implementing and managing backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN.
• Performing database tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing SQL / PLSQL.
• Managing database security, user access, encryption, and auditing policies.
• Supporting disaster recovery and high availability solutions (e.g., Oracle Data Guard, Multi-AZ RDS).
• Collaborating with DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams for CI / CD integration and cloud architecture improvements.
• Supporting database migrations and upgrades in a cloud-first environment.
• Participating in an on-call rotation to support 24 / 7 production environments.
