Key Roles & Responsibilities
Documentation & Compliance
- Create and maintain all documentation related to R&D lab equipment in line with lab guidelines and quality requirements.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records for equipment usage, maintenance, and calibration.
Equipment Calibration
Coordinate with calibration partners to manage calibration of all lab equipment as per schedule.Maintain detailed calibration records and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.Review calibration schedules regularly to ensure consistent equipment performance.Calibration Report Review
Review and validate calibration reports for accuracy and completeness.Identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions where necessary.Provide data-driven analysis and recommendations to senior quality staff.Internal Lab Audits
Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.Document findings, recommend improvements, and support implementation of corrective actions.Participate in continuous improvement activities for lab processes.Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform functional checks before and after calibration.Coordinate and perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, collaborating with technicians or calibration partners as needed.Maintain an updated equipment maintenance log.Qualifications & Skills
Education : B.Tech / B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.Experience : Minimum 3 years in equipment calibration, report review, lab audits, and maintenance.Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory standards for calibration and lab compliance.Proficiency with calibration tools, MS Office, and interpreting technical manuals.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.Skills Required
