Job Title : Configuration Specialist
About the Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide expert-level support and administration for Veeva Vault applications. This includes troubleshooting system issues, assisting users, managing configurations, and ensuring optimal performance of the platform. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams, business users, and Veeva support to address technical challenges, enhance system functionality, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support for Veeva Vault users by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving application-related issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Veeva support to escalate and resolve complex issues effectively.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security settings within Veeva Vault to ensure seamless operation.
- Assist in system configurations, workflows, and metadata updates as needed to optimize system performance.
- Develop user guides, FAQs, and training materials for end-users to improve their proficiency with Veeva Vault.
- Conduct training sessions to educate users on best practices and system utilization.
- Monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation of the Veeva Vault platform by implementing best practices for system utilization and compliance.
- Recommend and implement measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
- Work closely with business users, IT teams, and Veeva representatives to enhance system functionality and stay up to date with Veeva Vault updates, releases, and best practices.
Requirements :
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field is required. Additionally, 2+ years of experience in technical support, system administration, or application support for Veeva Vault is necessary.
