Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough inspections, repairs, and maintenance of diesel engines and mechanical systems in buses.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to engines, transmissions, clutches, and brake systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to enhance vehicle reliability and reduce operational downtime.
• Overhaul and replace worn or damaged components, including pistons, bearings, valves, and gears.
• Utilize diagnostic tools—both mechanical and computerized—to identify and resolve mechanical faults.
• Collaborate effectively with electricians and other technical staff to complete complex repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and promptly report significant mechanical failures.

Requirements

Diploma or certification in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering. Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic specializing in buses. Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines and mechanical systems. Experience with bus-specific maintenance, repair, and service protocols.
