Purpose of the Role :

To support the planning, execution, and quality control of all mechanical systems for the AI / Data Centre project, ensuring installation, testing, and commissioning meet design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The Mechanical Engineer coordinates with contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth integration of mechanical works.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Supervise installation of HVAC, chilled water, piping, fire suppression, and plumbing systems.

2. Ensure mechanical works comply with design drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.

3. Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure performance and reliability.

4. Coordinate with civil, electrical, and MEP teams to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly.

5. Monitor material and equipment usage, ensuring quality compliance and optimal resource utilization.

6. Maintain accurate documentation, as-built drawings, inspection reports, and progress records.

7. Support final inspection and handover of mechanical systems according to project quality and procedural standards.
