Job descriptionMonitoring and troubleshooting database systems. Performance tuning and optimization of queries and stored procedures. Ensuring high availability, integrity, and efficiency of database systems. Design, develop, and maintain stored procedures to fix issues and deliver new functionality in line with business Conduct unit testing and debugging of stored procedures, ensuring code quality and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate business logic from stored procedures to Java, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal business impact. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex database-related problems in production and non-production environments. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective database & Qualifications : 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Developer, preferably with exposure to large, complex systems. Strong knowledge of database programming using stored procedures / procedural SQL. Proficiency in Transact-SQL (Sybase ASE, MS SQL Server). Writing and analyzing procedural SQL using cursors, variables, loops, complex joins, subqueries, Query optimization, debugging, and performance tuning to enhance efficiency. Experience with database performance monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with source control (Git), scripting (PowerShell), and Java integration will be a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide support and maintenance for existing applications, primarily developed using Sybase stored procedures.

requirements.
