Role Overview :
- The Branch Agency Head will be responsible for driving business growth through the agency channel by managing a team of sales executives and agents.
- This includes achieving sales targets, ensuring quality business mix, and maintaining overall branch profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Business Development :
Allocate and achieve branch-level sales and premium targets.Ensure effective manpower planning and deployment against budgeted sales.Drive productivity of branch sales teams and individual sales managers.Maintain product mix in alignment with the business plan to ensure profitability.Track and report on productivity metrics, including agent activation and policy issuance.People Management :
Recruit, train, and motivate agents and sales teams to achieve set objectives.Maintain span of control by managing and monitoring Sales Executives, USMs, SR USMs, RMs, and SR RMs.Foster a performance-driven culture through coaching and regular reviews.Operational Excellence :
Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and claims teams for efficient service delivery.Ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory compliance.Engage with statutory authorities as required for branch operations.Qualifications & Experience :
Graduate in any discipline.6-8 years of experience in Agency or Retail Sales within General Insurance, including at least 23 years of team-handling experience.Proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams.Strong analytical and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.Reporting Structure :
