PanIIT Alumni Foundation is building India's largest public systems for human capital development and mass entrepreneurship incubation through joint ventures with state and national government agencies. The Project & Procurement principal associate manages procurement of and development of infrastructure for new educational institutions, including planning, coordinating civil and utility works and liaison with local govt administration to ensure timely completion and handover of new training institutes. This role requires effective coordination with contractors, vendors, govt officials and internal stakeholders.

Key Develop project plans, budgets and timelines for training, learning, and living infrastructure of new centers of PanIIT Alumni foundation

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external experts to finalize requirements including technical specifications for procurement of material items and services
  • Prepare RFPs and tender documents for vendor selection, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the board approved Procurement policy.
  • Lead / participate in negotiations with contractors / vendors for price, quality, and delivery conditions.
  • Draft and finalize contracts / agreements in coordination with Legal, Finance, etc., following procurement policy and negotiated terms.
  • Monitor and manage delivery / execution of purchase orders for both materials and services
  • Liasion with local govt administration to setup infrastructure in the respective centers
  • Ensure compliance with board-approved procurement policies and external / internal regulations.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives for Procurement function and overall organization by

working with cross functional teams

Experience / Specific Knowledge :

  • Social awareness and nation-building motivation
  • Project Setup / Management skills
  • Understanding of Procurement, contracts, purchase orders and related activities
  • Self-directed, proactive, out-of-the-box thinker
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Education Qualifications :

  • B.Tech / MBA from top colleges along with 2-6 years of experience working with MNCs, Non Profits or govt agencies
  • Languages Proficiency :

  • Well Versed in English Language (Written and spoken), Hindi (Spoken / Written)
  • Working Conditions :

  • Local travel within India
  • Comfortable with road / train travel
