Job descriptionOwn the review of accounting areas including bank reconciliations, month-end accrual, setting up prepaid expenses and amortization schedules, lease accounting (ASC 842), fixed asset accounting, intercompany accounting etc. Ensure accounting is completed accurately and completely for day-to-day transactions in accordance with US GAAP Manage and review the month-end and year-end close processes. Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual subsidiary accounting close packs Ensure proper reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial reviews. Coordinate with HQ on intercompany services agreements. Support external audits, including local statutory audit and US group audit Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks in accordance with SOX. Partner with Internal Audit and Compliance teams to improve process effectiveness and efficiencies Collaborate with AP, AR, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal to create / improve operational process and complete projects where relevant. Provide accounting guidance for business initiatives, including system Education & Certification : Chartered Accountant / CPA 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in managerial capacity. Experience with US headquartered companies Big 4 or equivalent industry experience preferred. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
