Role Summary
The International T&C Platform Operations Lead is part of the international team, which is driving commercial excellence in Tenders & Contracts across Pfizer International Commercial division. The colleague is responsible leading Digital relationships and partnership to ensure that the T&C Ecosystem and all solutions are operating smoothly on a day-to-day basis. The person provides strategic input and technical expertise to ensure that the platform meets or over-accomplishes on user needs. The colleague will lead the platform optimization by leveraging the Agile methodology & AI solutions. The senior manager will oversee continuous improvement and all platform related projects to ensure a coherent platform, which is scalable, sustainable, and stable. The colleague, as an SME, is accountable for partnering with country Tender & Contracting Leads and their cross-functional teams to oversee and lead trainings and onboardings to the various platforms and solutions.
Role Responsibilities
Overall accountability for the Tenders & Contracts platform used by 100+ countries across International Developed Markets (IDM) and Emerging Markets (EM)
- Lead day-to-day platform operations
- Manage relationship with the Digital teams and local Tenders & Contracts (T&C) team across markets
- Business point of contact for T&C platform solutions
- Prioritize and support issue resolution based on business value, criticality, and other factors
- Lead maintenance backlog and drive execution through Digital and vendor teams
- Partner with International Tenders & Contracts Commercial team, Digital teams & market T&C teams to implement new solutions, platform upgrades & AI transformation
- Own KPI reporting on platform usage, health, and key benefits / challenges
- Manage T&C platform support / maintenance team, Pfizerworks (Analytics) support / maintenance team on behalf of International Tenders & Contracts commercial team
Facilitate strategy development and implementation to advance the Tenders & Contracts platform
Product Manager for International Tenders and Contracts solutionsLead the practical implementation of the product roadmap and product / program backlog from a commercial point of view in close collaboration with the Intl. T&C Platform Strategy LeadPartner with Digital and T&C colleagues to optimize resource allocation overseeing design decisions from multiple projectsIdentify technology solutions to further advance the platform while managing maintenance and enhancement releasesDrive country platform engagement to achieve international standard processes, remove duplication and to maximize country efficiencies and business impact
Partner with country teams to onboard and train country and cross-functional usersMonitor user challenges (tickets and other) to identify common issues and generate insights for future improvementsMonitor countries' platform usage and identify adoption roadblocksIdentify opportunities for greater platform usage by user and more countriesLead analytics to track and improve data qualitySupport overall Tender & Contracting portfolio decisionsBasic Qualifications
BA / BS degree, preferably in Science, Health Sciences, Business or Engineering (Master an advantage)Minimum 8 years of experience working in or with the pharmaceutical industry in commercial rolesExperience working in regional / global role in Tenders & Contracts workstreamStrong knowledge of centralized tool / solution used to manage tenders & contracts internationally or at regional levelTechnologically proficient including experience utilizing technology and AI to drive business performance & process optimizationStrong knowledge and experience with the Salesforce platformExperienced in the area of developing and implementing advanced analyticsAbility to analyze, understand and cross-reference large, diverse data sets from various business areas (e.g., commercial, finance, manufacturing) and external sourcesExperience working on analytics and data transformation tools like Tableau & DataikuWell-organized with the ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and effectively lead projects in a matrix organizationResults oriented with high commitment to quality and performance and ability to translate a given strategy into detailed implementationCapable to influence without authority to achieve project and team goalsExperience working in multi-national, multi-cultural environments; strong sense of relationship buildingAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)Fluent in written and spoken English; other language is a plusPreferred Qualifications
