Principal Manager, Tech (Options India Tech)

We are looking for exceptional programmers with good problem-solving and design skills to join the Options Trading Technology team in Hyderabad. The team designs, builds, and maintains the systems that power the firm's options trading business, providing resilient, high-performance infrastructure for the Options trading desk. The role offers an opportunity to lead developers on the team, coordinate with other tech teams, and work closely with the business to define the technology roadmap, lead project execution, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY :

You will lead a team of engineers to design, implement, and maintain scalable and performant systems for options data processing and trading. Your responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical projects, and set realistic timelines and priorities. You will track and manage execution across multiple initiatives, identify and mitigate delivery risks, and communicate status to stakeholders. As a techno-functional leader, you will hire, mentor, and develop engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and technical rigor.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR :

Basic qualifications :

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, with at least 7 years of experience
• Thorough understanding of computer science fundamentals and data structures, algorithmic problem-solving abilities, and excellent analytical skills with a proven passion for technology
• Proficiency in at least one performance-critical language (e.g., C++, Java) and one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Proven experience in building low-latency, high throughput, or real-time systems
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time
• Excellent communication and technical expertise to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
