About the Role

The Export Manager will be responsible for driving export sales and business development, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

Export Sales & Business Development :

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales in international markets.

Identify and onboard new distributors, agents, and clients globally.

Market Research & Expansion :

Conduct research to identify new market opportunities.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

Client Management :

Maintain and grow relationships with international clients.

Address client inquiries, complaints, and provide post-sales support.

Documentation & Compliance :

Oversee export documentation, including invoices, LC, and certificates.

Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.

Coordination :

Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping agents for smooth operations.

Reporting & Analysis :

Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.

Analyze sales performance and suggest improvements.

Qualifications

Education :

MBA / PGDM in International Business.

Experience :

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in export sales, preferably in the foodservice or FMCG industry. Proven track record of driving export growth.

Required Skills

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of export documentation, international trade regulations, and INCOTERMS.

Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.

Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

Preferred Skills

Experience in managing international client relationships.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
