The role of a Line Localization Engineer at Schneider Electric is responsible for providing Engineering Support for all assigned Line localization / duplication projects defined with GSC (International). Here's a consolidated overview of the key responsibilities and qualifications :

Qualifications :
Preferred : Preferred experience in LV domain, with understanding of ACB, MCCB, MCB, CTR ( overload relay, contactor, MPCB), Busways; LV panel. Deep knowledge on 2 (compulsory) or more is desirable.
Skills :
Experience in product life cycle product design & development, production, costing, quality, value engineering,
Fair knowledge on continuous Engineering process with good Project management skills.
Good knowledge on design tools PDM / PLM / Creo. Past experience in SE tools (PDM / Symphony / MCSV / 3D / 2D drawing release) & SE process is an added advantage
Expertise in CAD tools such as PDM, Creo and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T), including tolerance stack-up analysis. Knowledge of GD&T and Tolerance stack up
Fair knowledge on manufacturing processes (e.g., molding, stamping, machining, moulding etc..) & assembly processes with decent knowledge on materials selection.
Good communication and presentation skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to prepare necessary status reports and technical presentations to stakeholders.
Proven track record of successfully launching new product development, QVE (quality value engineering), customizations, localization of products & part and product transfer project.
Familiarity with industrial costing and supply chain optimization
