Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Gold Loan Officer role located in Thane, India. The Gold Loan Officer is responsible for handling customer interactions related to gold loans, including assessing customer needs, verifying gold jewelry for pledging, and maintaining records of appraisals and transactions. Additional duties include ensuring compliance with banking regulations, achieving assigned sales targets, and managing loan collection activities. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships will be a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gold appraisal techniques and gold loan processes
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
• Basic understanding of banking operations and compliance standards
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in data entry and record maintenance
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
• Prior experience in gold loans or related financial services is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
