About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the First Nations Wellbeing and Engagement division in the role of Senior Project and Strategy Advisor. This role is offered up to 0.6FTE (22.5 hours per week), on a job share arrangement until November 2026.
The role reports to the National Manager, First Nations Strategy and Cultural Safety, and supports the development and implementation of various projects led by the Cultural Capability and Collaboration team in response to the headspace First Nations Strategy.

The primary role and function of the First Nations Cultural Practice & Engagement Team is outlined below.
"To advocate for the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and communities within the headspace context; and strengthen the cultural capacity of the headspace network by providing expert advice and through the implementation of culturally informed initiatives that aim to improve the delivery of headspace services and programs to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people."
Who we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional project management skills at both strategic and operational levels, coupled with the capacity to assess and manage risk, problem solve and negotiate successful outcomes.
As an Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander person, your cultural and social awareness will be central to this role.
