Role Overview :
We are seeking a Business Development professional specifically for Payment Gateway (PG) Sales. The role is purely a hunting profile focused on acquiring new merchants and businesses for SabPaisa's payment aggregator platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new merchant accounts across sectors such as E-commerce, Education, Healthcare, BFSI, and others.
- Pitch SabPaisa's payment gateway solutions, including UPI, Cards, Net Banking, EMI, Wallets, and Hybrid Payment options.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline, ensuring consistent lead generation and closures.
- Engage with key decision-makers, including CXOs, Founders, and Finance Heads, to finalize deals.
- Negotiate commercials and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Tech, Legal, Compliance) for smooth client activation.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Stay updated on the latest payment industry trends, competitive products, and regulatory changes.
Candidate Profile :
2–6 years of experience in Payment Gateway Sales / Merchant Acquisition in the fintech domain.Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a hunter role.Strong understanding of payment aggregator ecosystem, payment gateway processes, transaction flows, and related technologies.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Self-starter with high ownership and ability to work independently.Willingness to travel as per business needs.What SabPaisa Offers :
