We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Officer to drive our expansion in Mumbai. This role is strictly for candidates with a deep network and proven track record in the Agarbatti / FMCG industry.
Role Description
The Sales Officer will be the driving force behind our sales expansion in Mumbai, focusing heavily on establishing and managing our distribution network.
Channel Sales Mastery : Actively manage and grow our channel sales network, leveraging pre-existing relationships with agarbatti dealers, distributors, and wholesalers across the region.
Target Achievement : Own and exceed aggressive monthly and quarterly sales targets for agarbatti, dhoop cups, dhoop cones, and dhoop sticks.
Client Management : Initiate communication, maintain strong relationships with clients, handle inquiries, and resolve issues promptly to ensure excellent customer service.
Sales Operations & Reporting : Generate qualified sales leads, facilitate end-to-end sales operations, and maintain meticulous sales records and pipeline reports.
Market Insight : Collect and analyze market information on competitor activities and product performance to inform sales strategies.
Mandatory Requirements
Industry Experience : A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience specifically within the Agarbatti, Pooja Essentials, or FMCG industries.
Existing Network : Demonstrable and verifiable experience with established dealer and distributor channels in Mumbai and Maharashtra is essential. Candidates must have pre-existing, strong relationships in this domain.
Field Mobility : Must own and utilize a personal vehicle (two-wheeler or car) for daily commute and travel within the city to meet dealers and clients.
Qualifications
Channel Sales Proficiency : Deep understanding and experience in Channel Sales (B2B distribution / dealer network management).
Communication & Negotiation : Strong professional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Lead Generation & Sales Operations experience.
Problem-Solving : Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer service.
Work Ethic : Ability to work independently, take ownership of targets, and collaborate effectively with the central team.
Education : A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
