Job Description

Ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings according to Company’s or Client’s standards.

Performs Modeling with respect to Structural drawing & Architectural drawings.

Prepares the 3D model in the software as per IFC drawings and Client’s requirements.

Generates the GA drawings, Shop drawings, Erection drawings with related reports.

Checks the Input drawings with latest revision before starting the model.

Prepares the RFI's and update in the model as per RFIs reply by Client.

Prepares Bill of Material, Title block, Template and Reports as per Client’s requirement.

Upkeep Engineering filing system and supports Documentation Control.

Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s / Diploma degree of civil or mechanical engineering is required - work experience in SDS2 / Tekla may substitute as an equivalent to a Bachelor’s / Diploma degree
• 5-10 years of experience in steel detailing with SDS2 / Tekla is a must
• Working knowledge of AISC codes, OSHA, AWS, and other standards are a must
• Strong experience in reading and interpreting structural / architectural design drawings
• Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing, steel erection and shop fabrication process
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Basic mathematics including geometry and trigonometry
• Knowledge of welding specifications
• Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and Google Workspace

Additional Information

Work Location : Bangalore, Karnataka

Shift Timings : 1200 to 2100 Hours Indian Standard Time

Compensation : Based on experience

Placement : Permanent with 3 months of probationary period
