Plastic Design Engineer

Position : Interior / Exterior Plastic Design Engineer / Sr. engineer

Exp level 4-7 years

CAD : Creo 10.0

JD For Trims :

• Experienced in Automotive Design & Development of Instrument Panel / Console / Door Panel / Floor from the concept to product Design.
• 6 to 9 years of experience in designing automotive body components.
• Design Considering the Package, master sections, styling, vehicle regulation & performance.
• Experience in IP Feasibility check, and Master sections creation.
• Good knowledge in Interior fittings, Occupant safety regulation.
• 3D,2D and 3DA experience in Creo with good Surface modelling skills.
• Need to understand the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & DFA.
• Good plastic product design knowledge and different method of plastics manufacturing.
• Intermediate checking with cross functional team and check Module level.
• Communication with onsite and understand the design modification.
• Guide & support team on continuous quality improvement.
• Highly preferred Tool or mould Design Knowledge and / or experience.
• Capable of offering various concept designs and solutions to the design problems by considering DFM / DFA principles.
• Create Engineering drawings, technical requirements, product structure and release them to production. Basic knowledge in GD&T and should be able to apply them in drawings.
• Multi-tasking capabilities are essential to manage priorities.
