Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Execution (Approx. 50%)
- Develop, implement, and evaluate the organization’s marketing strategy to enhance market presence and brand awareness.
- Set sales growth targets and monitor progress against them.
- Analyse industry trends, customer behaviour, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities.
- Ensure marketing initiatives are effectively executed across all platforms and channels.
- Oversee regular market research and ensure findings are used to inform strategic decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.
2. Planning & Budgeting (Approx. 30%)
Define short- and long-term marketing goals and financial objectives.Prepare and manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring cost control and optimal resource allocation.Propose marketing-related financial targets to the Chairman.Identify and develop strategic profit centres for business growth.Maintain marketing team manpower costs within approved limits.3. Organizational Strategy & Team Development (Approx. 20%)
Collaborate with management, procurement, logistics, and other departments to align marketing activities with organizational goals.Ensure all marketing initiatives contribute to the overall health and growth of the organization.Develop and maintain a forward-thinking and customer-focused marketing approach.Build a high-performing marketing and sales team; ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics.Provide leadership, guidance, and training to team members for their professional development.
