Job Purpose : The Executive - QSE Engineer is responsible for quantification, estimation, budgeting, and cost management of both mechanical, electrical, and civil works across real estate construction projects at Adani Realty. This role involves evaluating project drawings, preparing accurate cost estimates, monitoring budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions, managing risks, and supporting project execution within financial constraints. The position requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and contractors to ensure precise and efficient project execution.
Responsibilities
Executive - QSE Engineer Services Civil MEP
Cost Estimation & Budgeting
Study the drawings and prepare Quantity Take-off (QTO) for cost estimation at Schematic, DD and GFC stage.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil and MEPF services works based on design documents and project specifications.
Assist in tracking project budgets and ensure costs align with Approved Budget, providing variance analysis and corrective actions where needed.
Develop detailed cost models, ensuring alignment with Approved Project Budgets and financial constraints.
Quantification & Take-off
Perform quantity take-offs for civil and MEPF services works from GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, design documents, and construction drawings.
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on detailed evaluations and quantifications of project specifications.
Identify and report discrepancies between actual quantities and budgeted quantities.
Cost Monitoring & Control
Assist intTracking project costs against Approved Budgets and identify variances.
Participate / Assist in value engineering to optimize design and construction costs while maintaining quality standards.
Suggest corrective actions for any identified budget overruns, ensuring efficient cost control through all project stages (feasibility, tender, and construction).
Project & Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, architects, and procurement teams to ensure execution within budget and design specifications.
Assist in preparation of tender documents and validating cost estimates for civil and MEPF services works.
Clarify bidder queries related to BOQs and support the tendering process.
Coordinate with cost consultants to validate cost estimates and pricing models.
Risk Management & Change Control
Assist in Identify and evaluate cost-related risks specific to civil and MEPF services works.
Implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure that projects remain within budget.
Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and unforeseen variations during construction, ensuring additional costs are documented and justified.
Monitor escalation and contingency provisions, initiating approval for allocation where required.
Quality Control & Compliance
Ensure all work meets BOQ and Technical Specifications requirements.
Conduct / Assist for audits and inspections to verify the accuracy of quantities and the application of correct materials and methods.
Monitoring & Reporting
Validate CTC data from site / billing team. Assist in CTC report preparation.
Regularly monitor costs and report on progress against approved budgets.
Analyze cost reports, conduct variance analysis, and update stakeholders on financial status.
Maintain comprehensive records of all quantities, costs, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering.
Work Experience (Range Of Years)
10-15 Years
Preferred Industry
Experience in quantity surveying, estimation, budgeting, and cost management within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of project drawings (GFC), BOQs, tendering processes, and contract management.
Proficiency in cost estimation software, AutoCAD, and MS Excel for cost modeling and analysis.
