Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Sales (General Industry)
KSB Pumps Limited is seeking a driven Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager to significantly contribute to our sales efforts, focusing on generating new leads for spares and service business within the General Industry. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of centrifugal pumps , excellent networking skills, and a commitment to consistently achieving and exceeding monthly order intake targets.
Major Responsibilities :
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly Order Intake (OI) targets to ensure accomplishment of the overall company target.
- Generate new leads for spares and service business in the General Industry sector.
- Identify organizations and individuals for new leads and potential new markets through networking and other approaches to generate revenue for the company.
- Regularly interact with potential customers via visits, email, and phone.
- Contact existing and new clients for inquiry generation.
- Review inquiries and provide backup to Technical Sales Support (TSS) for offer preparation.
- Correspond with KSB offices / customers on techno-commercial issues.
- Travel regularly to customers for lead generation, with a focus on the installed base to generate spares business.
- Study inquiries and coordinate with the TSS department for offer submission.
- Follow up on offers / quotations with the Branch Office (BO) team / customer to close deals.
- Carry out product / sales promotion through seminars & exhibitions.
- Gather market intelligence regarding competition and their activities.
- Interact with dealers (contractors) for lead generation.
Skills :
Knowledge of Centrifugal pumps is preferred.Strong sales acumen and ability to generate new leads.Excellent interpersonal skills for customer and stakeholder interaction.Proficiency in reviewing inquiries and providing necessary support for offer preparation.Ability to handle techno-commercial discussions.Effective follow-up and negotiation skills to close deals.Market intelligence gathering capabilities.Independent working ability with available techno-commercial data and set guidelines.Decision-making skills on techno-commercial matters in consultation with the Departmental Head.Skills Required
