Job Description :

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

• Team Leadership : Lead and manage a team of 8+ procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Skill Development : Identify skill gaps and lead initiatives to enhance product knowledge, market understanding, and sourcing capabilities within the team.
• Procurement Management : Oversee all procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, order issuance, order fulfillment, supplier payments and supplier service levels, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders to facilitate smooth procurement processes and resolve any issues.
• Supplier Engagement : Ability to engage internal and external partners collaboratively to derive solutions for any projects / assignment tasked.
• Performance Monitoring : Track and report on weekly / monthly metrics to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• MIS Oversight : Ensure accurate and timely management of Management Information Systems (MIS) for procurement activities.
• Team Motivation : Inspire and motivate the team to achieve their goals and maintain high morale, even under pressure.
• Change Management : Implement and manage change initiatives within the procurement team to improve processes and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Problem Solving : Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities and provide solutions to complex procurement challenges.
• Compliance & Ethics : Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement( CIRs) in procurement management processes and tools.
• Collaboration : Act as a key liaison between procurement management, category management, engineering, operations, quality, and other internal stakeholders.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, ERP (Oracle / SAP) tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in matrix organization.
