About PointO

PointO is a fast-growing, technology-first organization dedicated to sustainable mobility and energy storage transformation across various sectors.

As we continue scaling our clean energy initiatives, were looking for a committed and detail-oriented Business Manager to drive design, costing, and deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems.

Key & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities in Indias renewable energy and energy storage sectors.
  • Develop and execute region-specific sales strategies aligned with growth and revenue targets.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle prospecting, lead qualification, client engagement, negotiation, and closure.
  • Map key accounts in C&I and government sectors, maintain pipelines, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare high-quality proposals, tenders, and bids with internal team support.
  • Provide technical and commercial expertise on hardware, software, and services.
  • Offer market insights, particularly for battery solutions, with strong technical understanding to address product intricacies.

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Implement India-specific marketing campaigns to promote energy storage solutions.
  • Build brand visibility through digital channels, thought leadership, and industry events.
  • Localize content and messaging in coordination with marketing teams.
  • Generate qualified leads via targeted campaigns, partnerships, and outreach.
  • Stakeholder Management & Customer Engagement

  • Build long-term relationships with clients, government agencies, EPC contractors, and consultants.
  • Collaborate on policy and regulatory matters affecting energy storage adoption.
  • Represent the company at conferences and trade shows to drive visibility and business leads.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track competitor activities, customer trends, and regulatory developments.
  • Identify promising segments, use cases (e.g., C&I backup, renewable integration), and potential partners.
  • Share insights with product, regulatory, and leadership teams to refine strategy.
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering, Energy, or related field.
  • 3- 5 years B2B sales / marketing experience in energy, renewables, or battery storage.
  • Strong understanding of Indias power sector, policies, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in technical sales cycles and strategic marketing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Should have proven experience in managing and leading a team of 5-7 members.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple locations for client meetings.
  • Ability to train and guide the team to achieve sales conversions.
