As we continue scaling our clean energy initiatives, we're looking for a committed and detail-oriented Business Manager to drive design, costing, and deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems.
Sales & Business Development :
Identify and pursue business opportunities in India's renewable energy and energy storage sectors.Develop and execute region-specific sales strategies aligned with growth and revenue targets.Manage the complete sales cycle - prospecting, lead qualification, client engagement, negotiation, and closure.Map key accounts in C&I and government sectors, maintain pipelines, and ensure accurate reporting.Prepare high-quality proposals, tenders, and bids with internal team support.Provide technical and commercial expertise on hardware, software, and services.Offer market insights, particularly for battery solutions, with strong technical understanding to address product intricacies.Marketing & Brand Development :
Implement India-specific marketing campaigns to promote energy storage solutions.Build brand visibility through digital channels, thought leadership, and industry events.Localize content and messaging in coordination with marketing teams.Generate qualified leads via targeted campaigns, partnerships, and outreach.Stakeholder Management & Customer Engagement :
Build long-term relationships with clients, government agencies, EPC contractors, and consultants.Collaborate on policy and regulatory matters affecting energy storage adoption.Represent the company at conferences and trade shows to drive visibility and business leads.Market Intelligence & Reporting :
Track competitor activities, customer trends, and regulatory developments.Identify promising segments, use cases (e.g , C&I backup, renewable integration), and potential partners.Share insights with product, regulatory, and leadership teams to refine strategy.Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Energy, or related field.3-5 years' B2B sales / marketing experience in energy, renewables, or battery storage.Strong understanding of India's power sector, policies, and regulations.Proven experience in technical sales cycles and strategic marketing.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Should have proven experience in managing and leading a team of 5-7 members.Willingness to travel to multiple locations for client meetings.Ability to train and guide the team to achieve sales conversions.Why Join PointO?.
