Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate on-campus and off-campus placement activities, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate recruiters, HR managers, and industry partners.
- Organize student training sessions on resume writing, interview preparation, group discussions, and soft skills.
- Maintain and update the placement database, including student profiles, recruiter contacts, and placement statistics.
- Facilitate internship and job opportunities by identifying potential employers and aligning them with student interests.
- Ensure timely communication between students and recruiters regarding job openings, selection processes, and interview results.
- Collaborate with academic departments to match students' skill sets with industry demands.
- Assist in the preparation of placement reports and institutional rankings (e.g., NAAC, NIRF).
- Support the implementation of career fairs, seminars, and alumni engagement events.
- Provide personalized career guidance to students as needed.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree or MBA preferred).5–7 years of experience in campus placements, recruitment, HR, or career services.Desirable Skills & Attributes :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office, email, and database management.Ability to handle student interactions and corporate communication professionally.Understanding of current job market trends and employer expectations.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Familiarity with CRM, ERP systems, or placement portals is a plus.Skills Required
