Key Responsibilities :

You will be responsible for building credit risk models, driving underwriting and credit decisions, and ensuring optimization across risk, pricing and business growth. You&aposll play an important role in shaping our lending products and processes, ensuring they are built on a solid foundation of prudent risk management.

• Credit Decisioning : Leverage or build advanced credit risk models (functional rule based / heuristics and machine learning models) and lead critical credit decisions
• Team Collaboration : Provide effective credit oversight to colleagues leading our credit teams
• Risk Strategy Development : Develop, implement, and monitor risk strategies across credit underwriting, limit assessment, pricing, and collections
• Policy Development : Assist in drafting a detailed risk policy for the business loan business and closely monitor the adherence of the same
• Data Utilisation : Work extensively with Credit Bureau, Bank statement, financial data. Identify and evaluate alternate data features to explore credit expansion opportunities
• Team Development : Coach and mentor younger team members to create a world-class credit team both in functional credit analysis and machine learning based models
• Reporting and monitoring Systems : Drive robust monitoring and alerting systems for early warning signals of delinquencies in the portfolio, ensuring agility in decision-making. Perform Root cause analysis and present those to stakeholders in a timely fashion
• Underwriting : Responsible for managing the underwriting operations and performing risk assessment for various policies. End-to-end underwriting analysis of core business including risk selection, primarily simple costing, contracts review and structuring; incorporating and improving relevant technology to make informed decisions Grow the core business by developing opportunities in the portfolio in collaboration with relevant specialists
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all risk models and pricing strategies comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. Stay updated on regulatory changes and adjust strategies
