Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Mumbai. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accounts and tax returns, auditing financial information, and reconciling financial discrepancies. Daily tasks will also include maintaining accounting controls, generating financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in financial record management and preparation of accounts
• Experience in tax return preparation and auditing financial information
• Skills in reconciling financial discrepancies and maintaining accounting controls
• Ability to generate financial reports and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CPA or CA is a plus
