Role Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations at Rentkar. You’ll be responsible for bookkeeping, reconciliations, GST / Tax compliance, and ensuring smooth financial reporting. This role is critical to keeping Rentkar’s fast-growing operations financially sound and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations : bookkeeping, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable / receivable and vendor / client payments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances are filed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with auditors, CA firms, and internal teams for financial audits.
- Monitor cash flow, expense reports, and budget adherence.
- Support management with MIS reports, dashboards, and financial insights.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in accounting / finance (startup / e-commerce background preferred).Strong knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks or similar accounting software.Familiarity with GST, TDS, and Indian tax compliances.Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for financial reporting.Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree (CA Inter / CS Semi-qualified is a plus).What We Offer
