Job Overview

We are hiring a  Robotics Mechanical Engineer Intern  to support the design, analysis, and manufacturing of robotic systems. This role involves end-to-end involvement from CAD design to prototype testing, providing hands-on exposure to real robotic systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about mechanical design, possesses strong design acumen with the ability to assess manufacturing feasibility, has hands-on project experience, and can start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed CAD models for robotic components using software like SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) of robotic systems to optimize structural integrity and performance.
• Generate technical drawings and specifications to support manufacturing processes such as 3D printing, CNC machining.
• Apply basic GD&T principles to ensure accurate fit, alignment, and functional tolerances across assemblies.
• Work with fabrication and assembly teams to translate designs into manufacturable components with minimal rework.
• Assist in the integration of mechanical components with electrical and software systems for complete robot functionality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues in robotic systems during assembly and testing phases.
• Document design processes, FEA results, simulation outcomes, and test data for project records.
