SQL Project Coordinator

Job descriptionOversee SQL system upgrades to maintain security and performance. Coordinate and plan upgrade cycles and testing. Ensure accurate, current records in the Configuration Management Database. Supervise timely and complete documentation updates. Track vulnerabilities in SQL systems. Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to resolve issues. Consolidate various coordination responsibilities to improve consistency and efficiency. Implement new / revised support models for SQL / database environments. Standardize and improve support practices across teams. Monitor and optimize evolving database environments. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and scalability needs. Master's / Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science, Statistics, or a quantitative discipline. Minimum of 6 years of project management experience, focused on database initiatives. Strong SQL technology knowledge; familiarity with major providers like SQL Server and Oracle. Define project goals, break down into actionable tasks. Create timelines and allocate responsibilities. Maintain documentation and project tools. Bridge communication among developers, DBAs, and stakeholders. Lead regular status meetings and manage expectations. Monitor SQL database development for standards adherence. Review queries and database designs for performance and accuracy. Track budget adherence and resource usage. Preempt and mitigate project delays. Conduct SQL inventory audits and data integrity checks. Coordinate testing and drive successful delivery.
