We are an early-stage SaaS startup introducing an innovative Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and workforce management platform tailored for staffing companies in the USA. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join us as our first sales hire. This is a pivotal role where you will establish the sales function, build a high-performing team, and drive revenue growth from the very first quarter.
Role Overview
As the Sales Manager, you will take complete ownership of our US sales operations. You will be responsible for building and leading a small but impactful sales team, defining our go-to-market strategy, and expanding adoption of our platform within staffing companies across the USA. This position offers a rare opportunity to directly shape the sales organization and scale with a high-growth SaaS product.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle for US staffing companies, from prospecting to deal closure.
- Build, hire, and manage a small sales team (initially 2 Sales Executives) with a clear target of achieving at least 2 sales per team member per month from January 2026 onward, alongside meeting your own individual sales goals.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers, including owners, directors, and operations managers of staffing firms.
- Design and execute a scalable sales strategy specifically aligned with the US staffing market.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, positioning, and value propositions for target customers.
- Establish KPIs, track performance metrics, and continuously improve sales processes for predictable revenue growth.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to your team to ensure peak performance.
- Deliver regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and customer insights to the founding team.
Requirements
Proven track record as a Sales Manager or Head of Sales in SaaS, ideally with experience selling into the US staffing industry.Strong understanding of ATS, workforce management, or HR technology solutions (preferred).Demonstrated success in building, leading, and motivating small sales teams.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a strong grasp of US B2B sales dynamics.Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.What We Offer
