Job Title : Induction and Onboarding Trainer (Talent Development)
Job Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Induction and Onboarding Trainer to join our Talent Development team. This role is key to ensuring that new hires are effectively integrated into our organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent presentation skills, a passion for learning and development, and the ability to create impactful training content. This role also includes delivering first-level soft skills training programs and creating easy-to-follow training materials to enhance the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the onboarding process, including the induction sessions for new employees, ensuring they understand company culture, policies, and procedures.
Provide an engaging, informative, and positive experience for new hires.Collaborate with HR and relevant stakeholders to continuously improve the onboarding process and materials.Act as a go-to resource for new hires to answer questions and help them feel settled.Soft Skills Training :Facilitate and deliver first-level soft skills training programs, including communication, time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and customer service.
Use a variety of training methods (in-person, virtual, and blended learning) to engage employees.Monitor employee progress and provide feedback to help employees develop and improve soft skills.Content Creation & Development :Design and create easy-to-understand training materials, such as manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules, for both induction and soft skills programs.
Ensure content is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with the company's values and objectives.Collaborate with team members to continuously enhance and update training content and delivery methods.Evaluation & Feedback :Collect feedback from new hires and participants in training programs to evaluate the effectiveness of training.
Use feedback to make improvements and report on training outcomes to HR and Talent Development leadership.Track and measure the success of onboarding and training programs, ensuring that objectives are met.Collaboration & Support :Work closely with managers and team leaders to identify skill gaps and learning needs.
Support ongoing employee development through training and coaching.Be a brand ambassador for the company's culture, values, and development initiatives.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related field.Proven experience in conducting induction and onboarding programs.Experience delivering soft skills training or similar training programs.Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and effective training methodologies.Ability to create clear, engaging, and effective training content.Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.Comfortable working with a variety of learning technologies (LMS, e-learning tools, etc.).Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.A positive, approachable attitude with a strong passion for employee development.Preferred Skills :
Certification in instructional design or relevant training programs (e.g., CPLP, ATD).Experience working in a corporate training environment.Familiarity with remote and virtual training delivery platforms.Work Environment :
