Senior Presales Solution Engineer

Role Overview

As a Presales Consultant at Keka HR, you will be the technical and domain expert during the sales cycle. You will engage with prospective customers, understand their HR / people‑ops challenges, map those to Keka's product / features, conduct demos or proofs of concept, and enable the sales team to close deals. You'll act as a bridge between Product, Sales, and Customers, ensuring the proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions / workshops with prospects to understand their HR systems, process workflows, technology environment, business needs, and pain points.
• Map prospect requirements to Keka's product modules / marketplace / integration capabilities / APIs & propose tailored solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations, proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), and custom demos that illustrate how Keka can solve customer problems.
• Support the sales team in responding to RFIs, RFPs, and other technical proposal requests.
• Create technical proposals, statements of work (SoWs), and commercial documentation as needed.
• Clarify non‑functional requirements : infrastructure, security, compliance, data migration, integrations, etc.
• Liaise with Product and Engineering teams to gather inputs, clarify feature gaps, and feedback customer requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape in HR tech / HRMS / SaaS, best practices, to position product differentiators effectively.
• Communicate value propositions clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders (HR leaders, Finance, IT, etc.).
• Track leads / presales pipeline, ensure documentation is updated in CRM or internal tools.
• Occasionally assist in post‑sales handover to ensure smooth transition from presales to implementation.
