Systems Analyst 2-IT

Job Description

• Deploy, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter, clusters, HA / DRS, lifecycle management).
• Administer Nutanix clusters including AOS, AHV / ESXi integration, Prism Central / Element management, and capacity planning.
• Perform routine health checks, performance tuning, patching, and system upgrades across VMware and Nutanix platforms
• Support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), provisioning, delivery groups, StoreFront, Director, and Citrix ADC (NetScaler).
• Troubleshoot session issues, application delivery problems, and profile-related challenges.
• Support image management (MCS / PVS), golden image optimization, and application lifecycle operations.
• Provide L2 / L3 support for infrastructure issues, outages, and performance degradation.
• Perform root-cause analysis, document findings, and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Collaborate with network, storage, and security teams for integrated solution support.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, PowerCLI, or Nutanix Calm (optional).
• Assist in capacity planning, system monitoring, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation (SOPs, design diagrams, runbooks).
• Ensure all systems adhere to organizational security, compliance, and backup policies.
• Participate in audits, DR testing, and change management processes.
