Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5 years of experience in Unix / Linux system administration. Strong knowledge of RedHat, CentOS, or similar distributions. Experience with shell scripting (bash, ksh, etc. Familiarity with server hardware, storage systems, and network basics. Knowledge of tools like Nagios, Ansible, or similar is a plus. Good communication and troubleshooting skills.

Location : Chennai.
Job Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and maintain Unix / Linux servers.
- Perform regular system backups, patch updates, and performance tuning.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware / software issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Automate routine tasks using shell scripting.
- Ensure system availability and reliability.
- Work with other IT teams to support application deployments.
- Document procedures and system configurations.
