We’re Hiring : Associate Vice President – Sales (Domestic)

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic

sales leader

to join our team as

AVP – Sales (Domestic) . This is a senior leadership role that comes with the opportunity to

lead our nationwide sales operations , define sales strategies, and drive sustainable business growth.

About the Role :

The AVP – Sales will oversee the domestic sales team across regions, shape policies and processes, and ensure strong performance across all sales channels. Preference will be given to candidates with a

pet care / veterinary / animal health background , though strong FMCG experience is equally valuable.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Leadership & Strategy

– Oversee the nationwide sales team, define and implement short- and long-term sales strategies, and ensure targets are met.

Policy Formulation & Execution

– Draft, refine, and enforce sales policies, processes, and SOPs aligned with business goals.

Team Management & Development

– Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management. Support hiring, onboarding, and capability building within the team.

Sales Channel Management

– Take strategic decisions on channels (distribution, retail, modern trade, institutional, veterinary-focused) and strengthen the dealer / distributor network.

Business Growth & Expansion

– Identify new territories, customer segments, and opportunities to grow market share. Build and nurture customer relationships for retention.

Reporting & Analysis

– Track sales performance with regular MIS and reports. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on risks, trends, and opportunities.

Key Requirements :

Bachelor’s / Master’s in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field

10+ years of proven managerial experience in FMCG sales (veterinary / animal health background preferred)

Expertise in channel sales, policy drafting, and people management

Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Ability to thrive in a competitive and dynamic environment
