Associate Engineering Vice President

Role Overview :

The AVP - Engineering will lead high-performing teams, drive technical strategy, and ensure successful delivery of scalable products. This role blends hands-on architecture thinking with leadership in execution, team growth, and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Define and execute the engineering roadmap in line with HELO.AIs business and product strategy
• Manage and mentor engineering teams across product verticals (backend, frontend, AI, DevOps, etc.)
• Own system design, architecture reviews, and critical technology decisions
• Work closely with Product, Design, and Business to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable features
• Establish best practices in code quality, security, testing, and deployment
• Lead the hiring, onboarding, and professional development of engineers
• Set up and improve engineering workflows for faster and safer delivery
• Monitor and manage project timelines, resource planning, and team performance :
• 10+ years of total software engineering experience, including 2+ years in engineering leadership roles
• Strong technical background in system design, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP)
• Experience leading full-stack or backend-focused teams in fast-paced product environments
• Solid understanding of Agile processes, CI / CD, microservices, and modern DevOps
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team-building skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and cross-functional Qualifications :
