Automation Test Engineer (Playwright)

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Test Engineer to join our quality assurance team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our web applications by integrating automated tests into our continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define test strategies, create test plans, and establish acceptance criteria.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects with clear, detailed documentation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) to support frequent and reliable software releases.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Debug and troubleshoot test failures, identifying the root cause of issues and working with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in test automation and web technologies.
