Role Overview

We are seeking a Test Automation Lead with deep expertise in Playwright to drive quality engineering in a Shift-Left development environment . The ideal candidate will lead automation strategy, design robust test frameworks, and ensure early and continuous testing across the SDLC. This role demands hands-on leadership, technical excellence, and the ability to work independently without dedicated QA support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript or C#).
• Champion Shift-Left testing by integrating automated tests early in the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps to embed testing into CI / CD pipelines.
• Define and implement test strategies for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Mentor junior automation engineers and promote best practices in test automation and code quality.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and reliability.
