Automation Tester( Playwright )

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Automation Tester with hands-on experience in Playwright (or Cypress / WebdriverIO) , JavaScript / TypeScript , and API testing using Rest Assured . Experience in Cucumber BDD and strong automation design principles are essential for this role. You will be responsible for building robust, maintainable, and scalable test automation frameworks and ensuring the overall quality of software releases.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop UI test automation scripts using Playwright or similar frameworks like Cypress or WebdriverIO .
• Automate and execute API testing using Rest Assured and validate integrations across services.
• Implement and maintain Cucumber BDD frameworks for readable, behavior-driven test cases.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA to identify test scenarios and improve test coverage.
• Participate in design and code reviews for test automation solutions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI / CD pipelines for automated test execution.
• Perform defect triage , track bugs, and verify fixes in fast-paced Agile / Scrum environments.
