Network Administrator - Routing & Switching

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity, performance, and security of all network systems, provide support to users, and troubleshoot network-related Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Administer firewalls, VPNs, and other security tools to safeguard network integrity.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
• Support and administer third-party applications and tools.
• Troubleshoot network issues and outages and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and procedures.
• Manage IP address assignments and DNS / DHCP configurations.
• Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure projects and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with network security policies and best practices.
• Provide support and training to end-users as :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of proven experience in a network administration role.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network hardware.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS / IPS, and network monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Network certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or MCSA are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation Skills :
• Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of VoIP and wireless networking.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles
