About the Role

The Senior Mental Health Clinician plays a key role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people through high-quality, evidence-based care.

In this role, you will :

• Facilitate excellence in clinical practice and service delivery to achieve improved outcomes for headspace clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic counselling to young people experiencing mild to moderate or complex mental health concerns.
• Deliver direct mental health services as a primary part of your role.
• Support young people at risk of, or experiencing, severe mental illness to maximise recovery and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with families and carers involved in a young person’s care.
• Offer guidance, mentorship, and clinical support to Level 1 Mental Health Clinicians.
