Role Overview
This role leverages domain and business process expertise to document and manage product requirements in the form of epics and user stories , supported by artifacts such as business process maps, use cases, and test plans . The position is integral in bridging business needs with technology delivery teams, ensuring well-defined, testable, and prioritized requirements.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, AI / ML engineers , and the product team to support high-quality software delivery. You will also ensure that technical requirements are clearly elaborated to enable precise planning, estimation, and quality validation throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with System Architects and Product Owners to manage business analysis efforts aligned with engineering and product goals.
- Capture the voice of the customer to define business processes and product requirements.
- Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to define scope and value for upcoming features.
- Facilitate prioritization and grooming of the product backlog in collaboration with engineering and QA teams.
- Break down epics into features and sprint-sized user stories ; lead and participate in backlog refinement sessions .
- Clearly articulate requirements and user stories so all stakeholders understand their business value and implementation needs.
- Maintain high-quality documentation of user stories in tools such as Jira , including acceptance criteria and definition of done .
- Align business and technical requirements with UX design , ensuring an optimal user experience.
- Validate test scenarios against business needs and customer expectations.
- Stay actively involved in software development to ensure delivery aligns with defined requirements.
- Develop and deliver effective product demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications & Experience
Master's degree and 1–3 years of experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or Information Systems; ORBachelor's degree and 3–5 years of related experience; ORDiploma and 7–9 years of related experience.Must-Have Skills
Proven experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).Strong background in writing user stories and acceptance criteria using tools like Jira .Experience in development of modern web applications .Understanding of DevOps, CI / CD practices .Strong communication skills, capable of engaging confidently with senior stakeholders.Good-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with GxP , 21 CFR Part 11 , and system validation .Experience with validation protocols (IQ, OQ).Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks .Solid grounding in business analysis techniques , SDLC, and iterative development practices.Certifications (Preferred)
