Your New Role :

The Manager of Network Operations is responsible for overseeing the tier 2 operations of the network systems, including hardware, software, and communication links.

This role entails leading a team of tier 2 network operators to ensure the optimal performance, stability, and security of the organizations networking infrastructure.

Your Role Accountabilities MANAGEMENT :

• Network Operations Management (40%) Oversee the monitoring and support of network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, data circuits, DNS and DHCP.
• Team Leadership and Development (30%) Manage the network operations team, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and maintain training materials for network operations staff and conduct ongoing training sessions.
• Ensure team is up-to-date with the latest network technologies and practices.
• Strategic Planning and Project Management (20%) Contribute to the development of networking operations strategy and processes.
• Oversee and prioritize operational projects; manage and report on project timelines and outcomes.
• Develop and manage budgetary allocations for network operations.
• Compliance and Security (10%) Regularly review and analyze network performance and the adequacy of existing technologies, making recommendations for improvements.
• Implement and monitor policies for the use of network resources.
• Perform other duties as needed.
