As a Workday Benefits Consultant at Huron Consulting Group, you will play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and deploying Workday Benefits to meet client needs. Your expertise will help organizations streamline benefits administration, improve employee experience, ensure compliance, and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday HCM and Benefits, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven commitment to customer success.
Requirements :
- Experience : 4–6 years of relevant experience in Workday HCM Benefits modules, with Workday HCM / Benefits certification preferred.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or Human Resources (advanced degree preferred).
- Workday Benefits Expertise :
- Hands-on configuration and administration of the Benefits module.
- Led multiple Open Enrollment cycles and supported life events.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canada benefits systems, legislation, and regulations.
- Familiarity with ACA compliance, HIPAA considerations, and COBRA administration.
- Workday HCM Functional Knowledge :
- Core HCM and Benefits plus hands-on experience in at least one of the following : Advanced Compensation, Absence, Learning, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, or Payroll (U.S. / Canada).
- Technical / Analytical Skills :
- Report creation, data extraction, and validation for accuracy and compliance.
- Understanding of Workday security roles and permissions.
- Familiarity with integrations between Workday and external benefits providers or payroll systems.
- Strong troubleshooting ability for incidents, service requests, and configuration changes.
- Continuous Improvement : Ability to assess Workday updates, adopt new features, and document solutions using ticketing systems.
